So we’ll present the table management first, then we’ll show you how to add an item to a busy table.
Presentation of the table management interface on Gastro
First of all, to know where to access the tables management interface still called table selection menu, please follow the link “How to assign an order to a table on Gastro“. The table management interface displays empty and busy tables. And this interface has two aspects depending on your table plan.
In fact, if your table plan is devoid of areas, then the table management interface will group all the tables into a single block.
On the other hand, if your table plan contains areas, you’ll have to click on an area to display its tables.
Add an item to a busy table on Gastro: practical case
Regardless of your table plan, the steps for adding an item to a busy table are the same. For our practical case, we assume a table plan with areas. We’ll add an item on Table C of Area 2.
Once on the order of table C, you will see the “+ new item” button just below the items of the initial order assigned to table c.
Then the popup will close to display the point of sale (POS) to choose the item you want to add.
You must confirm your action to continue.
Finally, you can check if your adjustment has been taken into account.
Add more items to a busy table on Gastro is simple. On the table management interface, you only have to select a busy table and then start adding as many elements as you want.
