The classification of products according to their arrival in stock is one among many methods of inventory tracking. This method makes it possible to evaluate the value of the various supplies and to compare them. NexoPOS offers a feature that allows you to manage supplies and generate labels for products. In this tutorial, we’ll see how does the supply page is working and how to manage it (Delete and create a supply).

How does supplies page working

Generally you’ll refer to the supply page for searching an stock adjustment made or a stock taking made. you can also generate labels for products from there. Then, we’ll present the supplies page, the checking of the supplies history and the items labels creation process.

The supplies page : Presentation

On the “Inventory” menu, click on the “supplies” sub menu to acess the page. 

The “Supplies” page is a HTML table in which supplies are displayed, such as the name of the supply, its value and the included items quantity. We also have an “Options” button containing mainly the list of products for each supply and product labels for each supply.

Let’s take a closer look at the elements of the options, so we have :

  • The “Delete Supplies ” option, we’ll talk about later on the tutorial.
  • The “Product List” option show you the stock taking made the stock adjustment made of any item. There you can delete supply product, edit supply products or check the supplies history.
  • The “Items Labels” option let you generate and print products labels.
  • The “Supply invoice” option let you get the supply invoice for printing.
  • The “Refresh” option let you recalculate the value and the items count of the selected supply.

Checking the supplies history of items

As said before, the checking of the supplies history is done on the “Product List” option. For illustration, we’ll choose the “Charlotte Russian 2017” supply. Before clicking on the “Supply history” option, note that, the collection had 6000 units of an item earlier his stock taking. And according to the html table below, a stock taking of 160 units have been done. In order to have a complete overview of the product history, you can click on the “Supply History“. Once on the “Product history” screen. you’ll see various details about the selected item, including :

  • sales
  • stock adjustment (defective, or product in good condition)
  • stock return (made after a refund)
  • supply

We’ll illustrate the case of a stock taking on the table below.

Printing items/products labels 

The item labels can be printed from the “Items labels” option. When you click on this option, a table appears with all labels of the concerned supply. For this example, we’ll take the “Charlotte Russian 2017” supply. On the following image, you’ll see a result of items labels, that are ready for printing.


How to create a supply on NexoPOS

In order to create a supply on NexoPOS, you need to access to the dashboard, click on the “Inventory” menu, then click on “New supply” sub menu.

On the  “New supply” sub menu page, click to “Add” button to create a new procurement, then click to “Create Now” to proceed. We’ll thus proceed to create the “Winter collection 2019”.

How to delete a supply on NexoPOS

In order to delete a supply you need to access to the “Supply List” which shows all the available supplies. This page allow you to delete supplies in 3 different ways. You should note that, for all these cases, you’ll always have to confirm your action.

How to bulk delete supplies

Make a simultaneous selection of all supplies on the html table (1) then click on “Delete selected” button (2). Also note that you can display more entries on the html table if you want to delete more supplies.

How to delete multiple supplies

Here, you can delete one or more supplies from the html table.

How to delete single supply

By clicking on the “Options” button on the far right of your page, you have the “Delete supply” option to delete a supply.
